INCOMING MOBILITY

This section is dedicated to students from other countries who wish to visit the Academy of Fine Arts of Reggio Calabria in order to realize an Erasmus study period abroad. The section contains informations and references that allow you to learn about the city, the Institute, the teaching order and the provision of training. It can be undoubtedly useful for teachers who are interested to come to the above mention institute in order to realize experience of mobility for teaching and / or training.

Students Incoming Student Mobilities for Studies - (SMS)

A) APPLICATION
Students interested in carrying out a period of study at the Academy and selected as appropriate by one of our faculty partners must send by the deadline the following documentation:
1) Student Application form
2) Learning Agreement
3) Motivation letter
4) Photocopy of Identity Card / Passport
5) 1 photo
6) Certificate of Italian language (for the three-year period A2, B1 for the Biennium)

A1 CHOICE OF SUBJECTS
Erasmus students do not have any restriction on the choice of the matters and shall be given full freedom to choose courses. However, registration of each subject depends on criterion of non-overlapping time (see D) compulsory attendance) and the consent of the relative teacher.
In order to choose the subjects you want to attend at our faculty, you must:
a- See the courses offered at:
b- (alphabetical list of all subjects of the three-year periods). (alphabetical list of all the subjects of the two-year periods).
b- Check the schedules of the courses you wish to attend at the link (also valid for the academic year. 2014/15).

A3- RESULTS OF APPLICATIONS
The results of the nominations will be announced within 30 days after their arrival in the paper by e-mail or fax to the institution of origin or to individual candidates.

B) REGISTRATION
a)Registration
• Students accepted to perform their mobility to study at the Academy have to go when they arrive at the Office of International Relations to fulfill their registration.

b)Booklet Mobility

students get an Erasmus booklet, document proving their registration which shows the serial number, personal data and the establishment of origin
- serving at the time of the individual courses
- serving at the time of the examination for entering the title of the subject supported with voting and total loans, by individual teachers
- must be returned after the end of the mobility period to the Office of International Relations of the Academy
- used to get discounts and services for the student (Mensa, Museums, Transportation, etc.).

c)Certificate of arrival

Note: All documents issued by the Office of International Relations require a few days of processing before they can be delivered or sent to the applicant.

d) Entry to different matters

In order to follow individual lessons, mentioned earlier in the Learning Agreement, the Erasmus student has to compulsorily obtain the approval of the respective teacher, after the signing of the Authorization form of entry. Within three weeks after the start of classes, the student must submit to the Office International Relations authorization form signed

D) DUTY-OF-FREQUENCY
All courses must be attended mandatory. The minimum of the presences for admission to the examinations corresponds to 70% of the total number of hours for each course. Attendance to each course shall be supported after their signature on the list of enrolled students.

E) CREDITS, RATINGS

a) System of credits

1 CFA (Academic Educational Credit) = 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
Training module of 25 hours of work (lecture, tutorial, study).
For teaching laboratory (L): 25 hours of class work for the CFA;
For theoretical-practical (TP): 12.5 lesson in class for CFA;
For theoretical teaching (T): 7.5 hours of lessons in the classroom to CFA

b )Attribution of credits

In order to obtain the credits awarded for each course, the Erasmus student is obliged to attend the entire duration of the course. To fulfill this criterion students who are mobility study for the duration of a semester must ensure, prior to enrollment, that the lessons have lasting six months.

c) Rating scale of thirty: 0-30 (18 = minimum score, 30 = maximum grade, maximum grade = 30 Cum Laude with honors).

F) Extention
If you have any requests for extension of the period of mobility, complete the form and return it promptly to the Office of International Relations. This document provides for the signature and approval of the student, the host institution and the institution of origin, and must be signed before the deadline of mobilty.

G) CHANGES TO ORIGINAL LEARNING AGREEMENT

The Erasmus students may, during the period of its mobility, make changes once in their plan for the course (Learning Agreement). These changes must be made within six weeks of the beginning of the teachings.

H) PERIOD OF EXAMS
The exams are required to be supported within the scheduled sessions (see the academic calendar).

I) THE END OF MOBILITY

At the end of the exams, the student must return the book to the Office of International Relations, which provides at release of:

TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS - A document that certifies the exams with relative ECTS grades.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE document that certifies the total period of mobility.

SERVICES FOR DISABLED STUDENTS

Disabled Students who wish to attend our faculties are invited to contact the Office of International Relations directly to define its plan of study. Because of the historical nature of the building may be inaccessible some classrooms, thus reducing teaching.

CANTEEN
Erasmus students can access to canteen servicess. There are several dining options (direct management, contracting, in agreement and concession) close to the university bulidings in which students can make a complete meal for both lunch and dinner at reasonable prices.
